Marsden Community Primary School is based in the Walverden ward of Nelson. The school serves the communities of Walverden, Cloverhill and Whitefield. Marsden C.P School was designated as a Full Service Extended School in April 2004. A Full Service Extended School offers improved access to a number of services.that include Lifelong and Family Learning.
The school works closely with East Lancashire Adult Learning and other learning providers to offer adult and lifelong learning on the school premises thus improving access for parents / community members. |
